think i figured it out
kay got me a little 02 rsx yes its a base but i love it do you blame me? Been trying to figure out what to do for headers intake and exhaust poor girl needs to breath ya know i will have 1200$ at the end of the month and after searching debating and realizing a 700$ full turbo kit is to good to be true you get what you pay for ya know so heres my final thoughts please give me you thoughts i want to maximize my hp on a budget.
Headers- Strup 4-1 $264.95
Intake- AEM cai V2 $295.95
Exhaust- Skunk2 Mega Power $495.99

well then i dnt give afuk cause itll still be faster then stock and not looking for 300hp out her keeping it for another year then trading up so guy keep your half *** opinions to your self cause its really not use full criticism
but you see is that the kids around here are just running eclipses a civic or two maybe a talon a lazer nothing thats too special all sound like **** coffee can cheap tin exhaust v.i.p orderd intakes...and look im just looking to get a few extra hp your gonna sit there and tell me that adding what i said not going to give me 20-35 more hp? its not going to make the acura more fun to drive? its not going to make the throttle a little more responsive not going to give me a more aggressive sound? why does it matter im just looking for a little useful criticism....not looking to have a 300hp vtec ya i may be trading it ina year maybe not hell id like to see my settlement go through and get me a 2004 rx8 gt but till then id like to get a little more fun out of what i got

kay so headers intake and exhaust wont come close to giving me 25 to 30? from what ive seen and read each one says bla bla 7-14hp increase so dooooood how much hp you think ill get? dont matter either way i do have access to a dyno machine so ina a cpl weeks ill know....but for your sake how much do you think ill gain?l
might wanna look a little closer at the stats the rx8 has the type s by a **** hair but i bet still the rsx would take the mazda cause of how well she handles it was said that in 02 rsx was the best handling fwd car for the price range...but the 04 rx8 gt is kinda like my dream car love the ss doors...had a 2003 lvl 3 ion....nice car loved it and loved the ss doors worked great for kids in the back

What I would do is spend a couple hundred of that money on a track day and learn how to use the power you have. You will become a better driver that way and you'll take that with you to your next car.

The RX8 is quicker in a straight line and significantly quicker in the corners.
IMO though the RX8 is a terrible car. Fuel consumption of a v8, performance of a 4 cylinder, and the maintenance requirements of a 70's big 3 automobile. Fantastic chassis but the engine is just terrible and I don't know why anyone would buy one.
10-15hp would be my guess. Not worth the cost or hassle from police (my EP3 has a stock exhaust now for this reason).

this also applies to people on the street
thats way too generous. He might get close to 160whp, depending on what dyno, with the mods he listed. Since you just want to beat the the ricers in your area, you dont need name brand stuff, you should just get generic cheap stuff. Save money with cheap parts and you could possibly accomplish your ultimate goal of smoking ricers one quarter mile at a time.
