the screw located on the throttle body next to the canister hose, is supposed to adjust the idle speed

your correct that is the idle adjuster however to use that you need to let the car warm up and then unplug the idle air controll on the throttle body. that was the ECU wont be able to control the idle speed and override what your trying to adjust.

hope this helps.

There is a procedure in the service manual, you can not just turn it.

You'll find a diagram in the FAQs sticky.

What exactly is your idle problem?

Does the CEL work?

ok, i'll look in the FAQ..

the problem is very low idle when the engine get operating temperature. when A/C is ON, the Rpm are 400, 500 when
A/C is OFF the Rpm are 200, 300 at idle.

yes my cel work's very well

Update:

Today I was bleeding the coolant system when finish I let the engine warm to operating temperature, when the low idle start I disconnect the ECT sensor and guess what, the idle go up around 1000 and the CEL apear.

Why if I disconnect the ECT the idle go normal

Stop randomly unplugging sensors and just set the idle speed as detailed in the service manual.

You can test the ECT sensor.

Did you read the service manual diagram? You need to connect a tachometer to do the procedure.

Sounds like the idle screw hole might be plugged or somthing pull the screw all the way out spray come carb cleaner in the hole and then put the screw back in and then follow the Idle adjustment process you did today. good luck

Other thing I have noticed is that my car is consuming coolant, i know honda are very delicate with the air in the coolant system, but today i bleed the coolant system and i fill up the radiator and the coolant reservoir this morning and the coolant reservoir now is empty

i follow this diagram

i let the engine to warm ,connect the tachoneter, then disconect the eacv, when disconect the EACV the engine shut off, i start the engine and depress the pedal and put the rpm around 1000, when completely depress the pedal the engine shut off again, idle screw was completely inside and with the engine off i turn a little, then start the engine again and depress the pedal and put the rpm around 1000 when completely depress the pedal for let it idle the idle speed is around 100 :S, then turn the idle screw and the idle speed not rise more than 300 even if i un screw it all, then turn off the engine, connect the EACV and restart the ECU(Remove the Backup fuse for 10 seconds) then start the engine and i let it idle for about 3 minutes and the speed stay at 300

Okay thanks. That helps.

As an aside, to reset the ECU, it's generally best to remove the Back Up fuse for 3 or more minutes.

Have you cleaned the IACV? It does not seem to be working at all.

Any CEL codes after resetting the ECU?
