Default Wrong coolant

I did not realize I added dex-cool coolant (red/orange) but only into my reservoir tank. Been driving with it for a couple of days. Should I do a whole flush or would be it be fine to just dump the reservoir tank out and get some green?

i would flush out the system with distilled water and put new coolant in who knows could be also good for the motor to have fresh coolant

Best coolant to use on a honda is the HOnda OEM Coolant

dumping the res tank won't do anything, as it should have cycled through the system. they're both ethylene glycol based. tbh, 1/2 a liter of dex cool isn't going to cause a catastrophe. if it were mine, i wouldn't bother

Dex is known for causing water pump failure... I wouldnt want that junk in my motor.. Even my truck that came from the factory with dex I did a full flush and switched to green..

^^this is true. but 1/2 a liter isn't going to cause any issues. personally, i don't think it's worth the trouble. unless the coolant in there is already spent

you guys realize that to properly flush the system and get all of it out, you'd need to drain the block as well, right? just dumping what's in the rad is only going to drain about half the entire capacity. and getting at that block drain is a pain.
