Icon3 dohc zc running stalling and bogging

hey guys i have an issue with my dohc zc swapped ef hatch

I just did a full tune up(spark plugs, radiator flush, oil change) and my cars running like crap. Its idleing rough and when i wen to take it out for a test drive it didnt even want to move. Instead it bogged and just stalled. I pushed it back to my driveway since the car didnt even make it up the street. Fired up the engine and it started right away. When i popped the hood to see if anything could be leaking i didnt see anything. I let it sit at idel for a good 10 min and then i moved the throttle and it felt like it stumbled. Then after doing that twice it stalled on my third try. the car hesitates to move at takeoff and its idleing really low and stalling whith opening the throttle. My guess is the timing might be off but im not entirely sure. I cleaned the thottle a bit before i did the tune up and im having trouble replacing the fuel filter because the bolts to the hose are on there super tight but i'll install my new one once i get the old filter off. Does anyone know what it could be? This cars about to get sold if i cant solve it soon... And i havent even had a chance to drive it.. Any help is appreciated thanks guys.

Was it running like this before you did the "full tune up?"

yes it was running the same, i did the tune up in hopes that it would help. Im stumped at what it could be because it will turn on but stalls or tries to stall

sounds like that could all be explained by timing. i would check it before i do anything else.

I agree with the last two post.....are there any codes? and check your mechanical and ignition timing.

i think its ignition timing too, the cars getting taken to my buddies shop next week, he's a honda specialist and he loves's the zc motor so hopefully he lets me know whats wrong. It threw a code once but hasnt since then... But of course i havent driven it enough. At idle it hasnt thrown any codes though.

kind of, the motor has less than 67 k and is a jdm zc. My friend who owns a honda shop actually knows the original owner who was doing the swap. It was never finished and i got it after the wiring harness was finally finished. It was sitting for a good while before i got it.

Tri-tri-triple post!

First I would look at the basics. Are you getting fuel? (check fuel filter, voltage at injectors etc) Are you getting spark? (pull your plugs while still in the wire and see if they are sparking to across the gap, are the plugs gapped correctly?) Do you have compression? (Any auto parts place will rent/loan out a compression tester), next check timing (also something you can rent from an auto parts store). Are you using the correct ECU?

some people dont realize the timing on dohc zc works oddly check your ecu code it should be a pm7 pg7 or pm6 with a chip and check your map sensor make shure u have no vac line leaks at the TB that will throw your idle all outa wack

The PG7 and PM6 don't need to be chipped to run the DOHC ZC. Definitely check those vacuum lines to the Map sensor though. If it's running an obd0 sensor it'll be sitting on the firewall. If it's OBD1 (or running an obd1 sensor) it'll be sitting on top of the throttle body (and you don't need to worry about vac lines).

its obd0 so i'll check the lines in the tb again. This car was sitting for a while and the swap looks like it was half assed on some parts like hoses and cables.

And lol i did fuel filter and cleaned throttle body too, valve cover gasket+ spark plug tube gaskets, cap, rotor and spark plug cables are new so im pretty sure thats a full tune up. Im gonna get the injectors cleaned too.
