Default EG Coupe Master Cylinder question

I have a 94 ex coupe with a rear disc swap from an integra, what other master cylinders will fit or increase braking performance perhaps? I think I've seen them fit s2k ones on in an insue of super street honda edition but do any modifications need to be done in order to fit it or is it even a big difference?

What's wrong with the performance as is? And how much of an "increase" do you think you'll gain?

I don't know but mine is bad and leaking, it needs to be replaced, and I was just interested because I see all the Hondas in the magazines with swapped master cylinders

I heard you can use one from a Prelude. Never remember seeing any data for increased stopping distances.

What about just using the stock ex one? will that hold up with the rear disc conversion?

91 EX sedan (15/16) fits perfectly. No line bending.

Would the regular ex one still work for my rear disc though?

You'll get a stiffer pedal with a larger master cylinder, but it's more likely to decrease braking performance. The only time you really want to go larger is if your pedal travel is excessive.

A rear disc swap does not justify a MC upgrade. Only if you need more fluid to operate larger brakes in the front is one really necessary.

You do need a new prop valve if you don't have a 4040
