Will I fit in a Sparco Circuit Plus or Evo2 Seat?
I'm 6'0, 210lbs, 38 inch waist. Would anyone happen to know if I will fit into a Sparco Circuit plus or evo2 seat? I couldn't find much information regarding the circuit plus because I think its a fairly new seat...? I'm pretty certain I will fit into an evo2, but while I'm here I figured I would ask just in case.
The majority of fittment information I found was primarily for the circuit pro seat and that indicated that I might be able to shoe horn myself in. I don't mind a snug fit, but I would like to be able to move my legs.
If anyone in maryland has a circuit pro or circuit plus seat that they would be willing to let me sit in for a bit I would really appreciate it. Please PM me on that. Or maybe someone knows of a shop that has one?
Side note: I have a corbeau forza seat laying around that was a passenger seat in a track car for driving school. I fit very comfortably in it. I took measurements off of it based on sparcos website and compared them with the measurements of the circuit pro(because oddly they dont have the circuit plus listed) and evo2. The measurements were reasonably in line which leeds me to believe I should fit in a circuit plus.
Thanks for any input.
No fat jokes please

They are in Sterling, VA near Dulles. I think they have both of those seats in their showroom, you could check their site. Great folks!
I'd go there and try them out, since the fit will be pretty dependent on your shape. For me, my shoulders will get scrunched in some seats, and the side bolster cut into my ribs. Whereas other seats have more shoulder room, and the bolsters are shaped differently. Although taller, and more supportive, their shape fits me better.

Checkout the Cobra Evolution Pro in size "GT". The "GT" gives you an extra inch and you'll fit perfect - its a very comfy seat. You'll probably fit in the Sparco's, but I don't think you'll be very happy.
I'm 6'0, 180lb 32/34 ish waist line, and the evo2+ is big enough for me to run a foam seat insert. Pretty sure you will fit in one, but its alway best to go somewhere you can try them.
No matter how far you have to drive... go and sit in everyone you can find to sit in.
It makes no difference if you will fit in it or not.
Its the comfort level that you should be more concerned with.
It has to feel right for you.
When you spend money on these "safety items" they should make you happy with how you feel while using them.

Looks like I'll be paying the guys at OG racing a visit. They are one store/shop that I was thinking might have them available to test.
I'll look into the cobra as well. If anyone has suggestions for seats I'll gladly see if I can find somewhere that stocks them so I can test them. I'm really looking for a seat with the wings that come around the helmet just in case something were to go wrong.
The evo2 is kind of my last resort if I am unable to find a seat with the helmet wings that I fit into.
EDIT: Anyone know if the Cobra GT will even fit into an integra? I know the sparco will, but the wings on the cobra look really wide.

I have the cobra suzuka in my integra and there is tons of room all around it. I love my cobra. I have sat in several sparco and corbeau neither are what I would call comfy or feel like they hold me.
^^^Thanks. Seems as though everyone likes the cobra so I'll move that to the top of my priority list of seats to sit in. Lol
Looking into things a bit more...Cobra appears to be a company in the UK? Where did you guys get your seats from? Almost every website I've looked at has been in the UK.
www.subesports.com looks to be in california, but their prices seem a tad high compared to those on the UK sites(and yes I am converting euros to U.S on the UK sites).
My goal was to spend less than $1000 on the seat itself excluding shipping and that appears to be going out the window in a hurry.

I'm also a fan of the Cobras. I had a Sparco Sprint and Cobra Monaco (similarly priced) and the Sprint was junk quality compared to the Cobra. I'm thinking I'll be upgrading to a Cobra Suzuka when I have the money.
It has been beat to death but I would really try out seats first. I did not directly try but spent about two years trying out friends/strangers seats at track events. Same things with helmets. People would rave about this one and that one but I thought they all where the same. I then Randomly sat in a Momo Super Cup and it took 30 seconds and I knew that was the seat for me.
Yes we westcoasters have more selection.
Sube is where i buy my items because they have inventory and you can try them on for size.
Up your budget unless OG can order it for you.
IMO safety and comfort have no price tag.

i fit in the evo 2 fine, I also fit in my racetech non wide version fine so it depends on the seat.
the best seat i have been in was the 4009whr from racetech, which will be my next seat.
i would take a look at that seat as well the cobra.

^^^Ok that helps me out. Thanks. Your name sounds really familar. Was your car ever in a magazine or something? I feel like I saw a car with your name as the tag in some magazine.
Liam821: Or anyone else that can answer this...Will I definitly be better off in the long run with the "GT" version of the cobra evolution pro seat?(considering my size) and LMFAO at the stuffed dog in the passenger seat. clifford wanted to go for a ride. Lol
I also had a bit of good and bad luck with the cobras. I'm pretty positive that no one in my area stocks them so if I order it I will be going for the leap of faith method. Honestly I think I'm probably going with it because you guys haven't had one bad thing to say about cobra seats in general. The good part is that one of my friends in the UK can get the evolution pro gt and ship it to me for quite a bit less than the price sube advertises it at.

One things to considers is how the upper harness holes align with your back. If you are running your harness down to the floor (not mounted on the roll bar) some seats are not built for people 6 feet regardless of weight. Many run harness that will drastically compress the spine in an accident. Just another thought considering on your set up!
Never ever run your harness to the floor.
Harness bars (no fricking way)
Roll bar, roll cage. The only and safest way to go.

If you're not planning on loosing a bunch of weight anytime soon i'd get the "GT" version. And maybe order from a place that will take a return if you don't like it.
Either way, I do recommend you trying it out before you buy if you can.
I agree no harness bar and I will be running my harness off the rollbar. Why is running your harness to the floor so bad? Just because of the angle of attachment? I thought I read somewhere that other countries do that? I know I have seen it before in person thought (I'm well aware that does not mean it is correct).
