its the middle correct? im worried because i just recently installed this universal radiator fan but it doesnt run at the same speed as the old one, but if its for my year and make it should work(i hope)
i drove on the freeway and street today didnt over heat, just not used to the car running above cold , my old fan was grounded so it was always on, this was is always on too...but its not as powerful as the old oem fan ....

no wth^^ i have it grounded cuz my fuses are fukt, im running without a thermostat also, and i find it better to run it constantly it keeps my car cool, im just asking if it should be about the middle, no more because if thats normal then im good..
The dash gauge isn't all that accurate, but just below the halfway mark is "normal". If it hits halfway, the car is actually overheating slightly.
running without a thermostat is not a good idea. it prevents the cooling system from operating properly. this is probably why the needle stays on cold most of the time.
install an oem thermostat.

that high up? what do u mean? i just took my radiator to my local shop NO CRACKS, HOSES FINE, FLUID FINE, CAP FINE, NO LEAKS, GOT ME A NEW FAN, I DROVE OVER 40 MILES WITH OUT TURNING MY CAR OFF AND no over heating, and if theres a problem then shouldnt it of over heated? cuz it hasnt so having no thermostat hasnt done me any harm..
our point is that no thermostat will cause the car to "underheat" and not stay at normal operating temp. you will run rich and get lower mpg.
