i have an ex 96 accord with the f22b1 in it. I just bought a h23 tranny and clutch to put in it. The question i have is while im swapping out tranny's since everything is out what else should i replace that isnt to spendy since the car has 240k miles on it

 

Replace the rear main seal. 20 dollar dealer part since you're in there already.

this may seem wierd but can you post or message me a pic of your F22B1? I also have a 96 accord and I cant read where its supposed to say that.

 

anyone know a good site to buy a rear main seal from. Also im going to buy a short shifter but for both the short shifter and the main seal should i order it for the h23 or the f22 or does it not matter since there interchangeable. Bnj i sent you a picture of my engine.

 

Is the tranny rebuilt or used? If used, I'd add the seals for the tranny as well.

 

used guaranteed under 45k you think i should replace the other gaskets and if so could you help me out and let me know what gaskets that all is im still learning man.

 

I was thinking the shaft seals and that. Would hate to get it all together to find oil leaking from an input or cv shaft seal........
