Has anyone swapped their HCP mounts to HAsportmounts?
i haven't done it but logic overwhelms me and tells me to remove one mount at a time and do it. Might be tough getting to that rear one though, and depending on your tools the front one too
i think i might take my HCP mounts out, and have place racing put in their inserts. i don't like my motor shaking in the engine bay. i think the hcps are too soft.

You say, your taking out HCP, and put in Place Racing, Placing racing is too stiff you think and HCP is to soft. Right?
Well then dont go HASport. they are stiffer then HCP. And from what i have heard HCP is stiffer then Place Racing.

no, i think this is the ranking from softest to stiffest (my opinion from sticking my thumbnail into the mount)
hcp ( very soft, on the driver's side there is a section of overlap, can mush it with my fingers)
hasport
place racing. looks like there is an almost plastic hard insert in there. gimme.

I swapped my HCP mounts to HASports, but it was both of their first production kits. I used a cherry picker to take the engine halfway out so the new mounts could be put on and slide into place.

I am using PR now and they are very stiff, but the inserts are worn and the eng is tilting forward, although they have lifetime on the mounts but you have to send the ones back before they will send you new ones, but how the hell can I drive the car with no mounts
used HAsport in my EF. If you want to replace the mounts...do them one at a time. It will be easier that way. Use a floor jack to hold up the side of the engine ur working on
most simple IMO.
Hasport mounts = almost no engine torque.

well I did it, it was a pain in the ***** but I got it done in about 3 hours. I had the HCP 1 kit and I had to also put in the rear bracket. Definetly do it one mount at a time, its very time consuming. A few jacks and patience is what required but worth it!!!!
