Default B16A2 Block. Golden Eagle Sleeves. 85mm. Cheap.

I would rather sell local, so the buyer can see the block in person, prior to purchasing. But Ill list it here. Located in Castle Rock, Colorado.

B16A2 Block. 85mm Golden Eagle Sleeves.

Problems:
Cylinder 1 has some scratches on the sleeve. Looks like piston skirt slap, but theyre semi deep. Maybe a broken ring? I purchased it like this, so I dont know. Two vertical scratches. Im no machinist, or professional builder. But if I hadnt decided to go single cam, I would either hone it, and run it, or bore it, and have custom pistons made for it (i.e. 85.2mm or something, obviously dependent on machine work needed).

The Oil Pressure Sending Unit port on the back broke (the block casting). Weld a piece of aluminum to plug it, and run a sandwich plate. Problem solved. Not a big deal, but I dont want to leave anything out.

Looks like it had Time Serts installed in a few of the head stud holes. Two of which look funny to me. Excessive epoxy or something built up above the Time Serts themselves. I think if you clean it up, and drill out some of the epoxy, itll be fine. One of the holes threads, the other threads into the epoxy, and gets hard to thread past. May need a Time Sert or two replaced. All other holes thread great.

I have NOT used this block. I dont want to hide anything. Im trying to be very up front, and thorough. If anyone is serious, I can take better high resolution pics, and see if I can show everything to the best of my ability.

The scratch in the sleeve

The "epoxy" in one of the two holes.

Block does come with matching caps. And if the buyer wants it, or the offer is right, I will include the crank.

Make me an offer. I dont know what this might be worth to someone. I really just want my money back, so I can put it into my single cam build. I WILL CONSIDER ALL TRADE OFFERS. Id love to get a 6262.

interested but I'm sure we'd be at two different prices. I would not trust that cylinder and would more than likely get that one resleeved. looks like rings weren't installed correctly. you could bore it but i wouldn't want the cylinder walls to be much thinner and if they are deep enough you'd need to take a decent amount off.

bottom line..how much did you pay for it or at least give us a starting price request.
