Icon3 need some help, can i put a d15b7 dizzy in my d16a6

im trying not to drop almost $200 on a re-manned unit, so i found a dizzy on CL for $40 but i was an idiot and didn't look at the electrical connectors until i got home.

turns out the distributor is from a d15b7 out of a 91 crx. i dont have a problem trying to re-wire the one connector that doesn't match up with my car, however from the research i've done it looks like the d15 does NOT have a cam position sensor inside the distributor while the stock d16 in the car does. in other words, the electrical connection for my car has two extra wires then what come out of the d15 distributo i want to use.

is there any way i can get around this, or am i just being too much of a cheap *** lol. any help would be awesome! thanks guys

You can use it... but ONLY if you convert your car to OBD-1.
