Default Potenza RE002

I am currently in Asia and I saw an ad for Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE002 tires. I am assuming they just came out, and a Google search yields discussions in (mainly) Australian boards. TireRack doesn't have them listed.

They appear to be an upgrade of the RE001s shown here:

Any international members have any idea how these tires are? Anyone have any idea if the US will get them or not (most likely not since the RE001s were never brought here)? Just based off the tread pattern shown below, how do you think they would compare to the RE-11s (they appear to be Extreme Performance summer tires)?

Yea we do have them in Australia, and they got for a bout $230 a tire (205/50R 16). We have had them for a few months though. When my RE001s run low i WILL be getting RE002.

But sorry, cant comment on how they are yet, people have steered clear because of the price lol

I did some more reading and apparently they are a step under RE-11s. Are RE-11s sold in AU? Do you know anyone with them that would let you test drive to compare to at least your RE001s?
