Help On My S2k 03
I just recently purchased 03 Ap1 and I'm having a bit of a difficult time taking the center consul out. Im trying to put my old boot cover from my 2000 civic into my Ap1. Can anybody provide me with a link in how to ?
Welcome to the board, the console has clips that you have to "snap" out.. i know it feels wrong, or you might break something but it snaps out.
You can use a putty knife with some electrical tape wrapped around it, slide it on the side and give it a twist... or a flat head but be careful it doesn't damage the edge.
Also if you do damage a clip or the snap garnish, you can order them from majestic automotive,
90666-S84-A01 .39 cents each, clip.
90610-SR3-003 1.27 clip garnish.

Thanks, but I see a big difference in the 01 to the 03 .. I see it goes way back the center glove dept.. Also will the boot cover for civic fit for a 03
naa, i would guess of the top of my head you would use a adhesive spray, say 3m... cut an overlap of 1", cut the corners so they don't bind, with clean hands press the fabric over, then wrap around and glue.. set it with a weight on the overlapping fabric so it binds.
then, after a bit, apply more adhesive(3m spray, any good blue, etc) over the overlap creating anther layer.

no no, the clips are for the carpet that goes over the transmission tunnel, you just want to change your shift boot so just "pop" the top cover off. Takes force.
Its the entire cover that pops off, that plastic part that holds the boot, the trim around it, the roof/e light/elbow pad

The better question is what type of shift boot are you putting in and why. The stock one looks great. Are you even sure the one from your Civic will fit correctly?
They're right, pay no attention to the clips that you can see going through the carpet on the sides. It's the plastic piece that goes around the Ebrake handle you want to lift straight up that alows you to get to the boot. If it will not move put like putty knife under it and pry and lift. I know it does't look like two pieces but it is..

It's off my old civic 00 ... It's JDM, I'm pretty sure it will fit I havent had a chance to put it in. I'll keep you guys posted. I wanted something different.
I would ask Houston Imports but everybody on that fourm are ********... Including myself ...
So the very first product going on this s2000 is a passwordjdm one, from a owner who thinks it was made in japan, in a honda jdm factory by magical street racing legends that grow up on mount akina.

i pray for this hobby's future.
