Default Will 90-93 Integra Axles fit 88 Crx si knuckles..???

In the process of doing a b20 vtec swap and a lot of the parts were from someone elses project. I would like to make sure I have the correct axles and mid shaft to go into my 88 crx. Is there a way I can identify them so I know I have what I need? Also found several searches saying different things about the spline count,if I know for sure that I have 90-93 integra axles and intermediate shaft and I know for sure that I have 88 crx si knuckles will the spline count match on these and be useable?? Thanks

You can look at castings or just look at it and know. If it bolts in place you can use it... The axles are what is going to change. Regardless it's not that big of a deal. If you post pictures I am sure we could help you...

Looks like it should work - but the only problem will be you have an '88 CRX. You need to change suspenion parts no matter what. (Unless you have custom axles made but that would be less cost effective and pointless.) Read through this similar thread that's on the front page - you will see your problem as there is pictures...

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/b18a1-intermediate-shaft-cv-axles-problem-3014202/

Also, it looks to be a "cable" intermediate shaft (which is fine) but you will need to change the seal on the transmission accordingly depending on what transmission you are using.

That's not the only option but if you decided to go that route it will work. Again, if you read the WHOLE thing you will see there will be positive camber unless you are lowerEd. That and the toe will be out of spec (can be fixed by alignment).

PS - No offense but it helps to actually try searching... This has litteraly been covered thousands of times.

Thanks. I did search and couldn't find a way of identifying my axles by part # so I wanted to identify what they came out of to see if they were useable. For the record I did search.

In searching I have found a bunch of conflicting info with 88 crx si knuckles having different spline counts than the 89-91 si's. I appreciate your help in trying to solve my issue but your missing the point?

Are 90-93 integra axles/ int. shaft compatible with 88 crx si knuckles??

No... I gave you a link with pictures showing that is doesn't fit!!! What more do you want? I can't physically show you that it won't work any better than that... we are on the Internet after all. As I already said you would have to make custom axles, so please, go hammer yourself.

(The first link I showed you has the pictures I am talking about.)

Listen how about you take some Midol and relax. Don't know if you read that thread but the guy was not sure he had an 88 si,he was thinking it might be an HF and so did a couple other people in the thread?? That's why the axles did not fit,why your getting all bent and telling me to "search" I have no idea. I am looking for something that says without a doubt 90-93 axles will not fit in 88 crx si knuckles. Going to send this guy a pm and see if he figured out his issue. Thanks for the help now go wash the sand outta your vag.

Really? I said look at the pictures. Interesting to insult me when I am the ONLY one who has helped you. Pathetic... You have added absolutely NOTHING to this forum at all try even remotely have an attitude. You are the one who obviously can't read. Regardless, PMing "Viking-101" is useless, he is as clueless as you are. Oh well, good luck with your problem. Also, please take the time to learn how to search.

I have come across a few that say they will and some that say they won't. Pain in the ***.

Nuff said. Buddy a lot of people come to this forum for advice and guidance. Most people are weekend mechanics unlike yourself who obviously knows all.do you own a 1988 crx si? Have you done this swap on your 1988 crx si? Good luck working on your 88 Crx Si and I hope you don't run into any issues or problems if you do I wouldn't ask N3va3vasatisfi3d cause all he'll do is tell you
that you don't know anything and to search. I found several articles on the web that have said (and with pics for the idiots) that 88 crx si knuckles are a direct fit for 90-93 teg axles. God forbid I don't take the almighty word of a genius like you who has over 3,000 posts. Is that the number of posts it takes to get your d!€k diploma......well your well on your way. Nicely done.
