Default 93 civic VX White clean title all OEM

This car is suited for someone that wants an car that can hyper mile and appreciates what the VX is capable of. This is the extremely rare Federal version, that does go into lean burn to give extraordinary MPG. Has shift light, 5 wire o2, rust free body (been in CA all it's life except for 1 week in NC when it was first bought) I've taking this car all over CA including Sacramento, to L.A. twice with no problems.

Car is located in Sacramento, CA
Holds a Clean Title.
232,xxx Miles
A/C is cold and working
Starter replaced 10/16/10
K&N Drop in filter 11/20/10
New rebuilt Transmission replaced 2/17/11
New Clutch and throw out bearing 2/17/11
Upper and lower ball joints replaced. 3/05/11
Front wheel bearing replaced 3/05/11.
Installed OEM clock 7/18/11
Blue OEM car mats 7/18/11
New OEM driverside Seatbelt 1/30/12

Current Issues:
Radio, works sometimes (needs new one)
Front drivers seat has rip
Glove box hinges on bottom are broken, stays up but sits lower.
Car's body has many dents and dings,
driver-side inside door handle cup, needs to be installed.

$3400

Yeah I really love the Vx too, I think I may have down graded by getting a Insight. Only time will tell though. Bought way to many car's and now I have to sell some unfortunately.

Downgraded? I don't think so ;-). I don't think these MPGs are possible on a VX Civic. (I know I used to have one too). What year Insight did you get?

That's not my best either. It's all in how you drive it . . .

This is a Federal version of the VX! NOT the weak neutered cousin California version. If you don't drive like a *** hat then yes you can get 50+ MPG. If you drive like *** hat expect to get mid to low 40's.

2000 Insight, It currently has non factory tires on it so it's numbers are only slightly better then the VX (at best, sometimes worst) But I'm still learning how to get the most out of it. The thing that sucks most about the insight is now I have to worry about a $3000 battery in the back of my mind all the time. And they only last like 5 years.

Yes, get the RE92's. They are coming back into stock and will make a huge difference on your MPGs. If your IMA battery does go, get a BetterBattery. Brand new and literally better than stock (More capacity, faster regen charging, less self discharge). I have one and love it! Oh, and they are $2k shipped to your front door.

The IMA battery you already have can last a *lot* longer with proper maintenance. Get a "grid charger" and you will triple the battery life with regular charging. Come on over to Insight Central and introduce yourself. It's the Honda-Tech of 00-06 Honda Insights. Tons of great info and super smart people over there . . .

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the info I'm over at insightcentral.net The people over there are awesome. Really a helpful community and I can't wait till I'm completely out of the normal honda civic/integra crowd.
Wish you weren't so far away so I could have you look at a few things on my car.
