Default Alex_S's ED6 -91' build

Hey everyone, im Alex, Im from Sweden and im 17. I thought i'd start a thread here of my ED6 ' Restoration & etc. '
I bought this civic for ~200$ and it was in pretty much junkworthy state at the time.
The main plan with this is as it's my "first car" ( this is acctually my 3rd ) but this is the first car i will have when i get my license. Is to achieve a Track/Stance'd look with some proper jdm parts.
But as im a student this car will take a while before i get it the way i want!

some plans:
Chargespeed Wing [ ]
Mini-me/D16z6 [ ]
ED7 Rear - Disc conversion [ ]
New paint [X]
New rims [ ]
mitsu EVO-3 chairs [ ]
Nardi steering wheel [ ]
Amber corners [ ]
Strutbars front + rear [ ]
"deflectors" [ ]
Golf 3 VR6/GTI Front lip [ ]
Some sort of rearlip/sideskirts [ ]
Coilovers [ ]

The day i bought the car ; may, 2011

Rear trunk and the metal part under it comepletely rusted

The bodywork was in incredibly bad shape.

The interior, some crap wheel, it had CRX seats already though.

The day after i bought it, got a new trunk and rear list, just threw on some rattlecan paint to prevent further corrosion.

Some weeks after that, removed the rear tint as it was in such a poor condition, Also removed the rear interior to remove the "asphalt mat"

Some random picture.

And this is why you shouldnt fix holes with filler.....

This was from around may - August, 2011

What comes now is from i would say september - December, 2011

I welded the holes in the hood, and restored the old original hoodlock.

Now for the painting, ( its done without a proper booth, but proper paint etc.)
Some rust primer for the areas that lacked paint

Then base-coat on the entire car!

And then the paint! i found a can of some silver metallic paint which i used!

And this is before clearcoat.

And then clearcoat! ( the pictures are crappy i know, but i only had my cellphone on me so hehe ;D

There, now its put backtogether and driven home.

Yeah, i just drilled holes in the bumper and fitted it with bolts and nuts. They're a bit long at the sides so i will cut of a bit of it there. but other wise the shape is the same!
