A6 cam a6 ecu problems
Ok Im on the side of the road and I installed the a6 cam and ecu in my f22a1 and now it just died on me and all it dose is turn over really fast and won't fire any help?
Are you missing fuel or fire or both?
Check to make sure that your ECU ground and all the connectors are tight and making good clean connection. IIRC It is the ground wire that is (should be) attached to the thermostat housing. G101.

No The ECU doesn't have to bolted to the floor you have to make sure that the main ground wire on the thermostat is properly connected. Not having the ECU mounted should not cause a not start issue. I had mine running while sitting on my passenger side seat for a week. When I street tune cars the ECU is never mounted.
When you turn the key to the on position do you hear the fuel pump prime? Does the check engine lite come on for a few seconds then shut off?

I have all f22a1 parts and 2 f22a6 parts ecu and cam and after like 10 min of driving it just died on me and was making a clink noise in the vale cover

Might want to take the valve cover off and see if anything may have come loose after the instal. Could be the timing belt skipped a few teeth if you didn't tension it properly after the cam swap.
Just like @GhostAccord said check the head. Most likely your problem is there. The A6 head has firmer valve springs for the more aggressive cam, but I don't think that that could be an issue yet.
soo what would be the problem would the cam have broken the lifters? i have the a6 lifters so should i just put those in and would it start but then i have the not firing problem
You mean the rockers. These engines do not have lifters. I highly doubt that the A6 cam would break your lifters. The A6 doesn't have that much more lift than the A1/A4 cams. Did you loosen the adjusting screws before you removed the rocker assembly. Then adjust the valves after the cam instal?
If you have a no spark situation you should start looking at your ignition system, the distributor wiring, ignition coil and/or ignitor.
Is your cam turning while you try and turn the engine over? Remove the oil fill cover from the valve cover and have someone else try and start your car. Look down inside the oil fill hole and see if the cam is moving. If it isn't then I would say it's your timing belt or cam.

ok i just found out the problem there were 3 of us working on and and screwed it up big time each of us thought the other person tightend the cam gear on the new cam and riped the cam gear off the cam so now i have to put the stock one in and now im not messing with the car untill the motor gose then ill build it up and thats about it for that and hope the motor dont sease up
Lesson learned: Do it yourself if you want it done right. Sorry to hear about your troubles I too want to do an A6 cam and ECU. Some day I will snag one at the junk yard.
