Default No Start 96 Accord

The car sounds like it's firing but won't start. I checked for fuel and spark and it has both. The spark does seem weak because it is more of an orange. It's a 96 accord with a 2.2 non vtec motor. What do i check next? Thanks in advance.

Take the tube off of the throttle body and have someone crank the car while you spray a bit of starting fluid in the throttle body.

It's rude to ignore someones suggestion like you did. If you don't want to try spraying some starting fluid into the intake, fine. You should at least say something like, "Thanks, but I'm going to pass on that", and not just ignore it, post "any ideas?" and pretend like nobody tried to help.

if your not going to add anything to a thread stay out of it. If you think starting fluid is technical you don't belong in this forum. Starting fluid isn't a reason for a car not starting and doesn't solve anything.

Technically:
  1. compressed air
  2. gasoline or other flammable vapor
  3. spark

Note that all three have to happen at the correct time.

I suggested a cheap and fast way to check if #2 since you indicated that #3 was present, at least somewhat.

Sorry it didn't work out.
