Icon2 Car wont move!!!

I have a 1992 Honda Accord. Automatic. When I put it in any of the Drives, or in Reverse, the RPMs will go up telling me its in gear, but it wont move. I don't know a whole lot about Hondas, so im researching. Any ideas? It has plenty of Transmission fluid.

Yes, they have torque converters. Make sure the transmission cable is actually moving on the side of the transmission.

I will look at that when I go over there today. Do you have any other ideas if that doesn't work?

Can you show me a picture of where the cable would be that your referring to? We can't seem to find one. Its probably right in front of my face, but I'm just not seeing it...I moved the shifter in and out of drive and reverse while someone was looking under the hood, but couldn't see any cables or anything moving.

Since the car will decide to drive every once in awhile, then will like slip out of gear, and then other times when put in to drive won't go at all if maybe a cable is loose, and is falling out of gear, or not going in to gear.

Not sure if what I'm saying makes any sense. It may sound completely stupid. Not sure..

Thanks for the help.

Another thing, when the car does decide to actually drive. It will not shift gears. We got it to go about a block and a half the other day.
