Default 00 ITR ABS issues (not working)

my caR is a 2000.
i have been restoring and building the car over the years and i have been progressively trying to tackle all of the damn gremlins in the car.

the car currently runs awesome, my issue comes with the ABS system.

it has always had the ABS light on (even when the car is running, the light is lit and stays lit on the gauge cluster) im pretty sure ABS isnt working due to the braking nature i get from the car compared to my gsr in which the ABS works.

here are some things to try and get to the bottom of the problem:

1) i have changed all the ABS sesnors to my knowledge they are all good.
2) tried pulling the code from the connector underneath the dash, with a paper clip and i CANNOT get the computer in the car to flash or give me anything.
3) all brake lines have been bled (and again for double check).
4) brake pedal feels awesome just can get the flippin ABS to work.

some things to keep in mind:
1) the car has a k series (no corners were cut, very clean install)
2) car has k pro
3) i have aftermarket kevlar lines
4) i have 16' wheels + 225 in the front + a 215 in the back.

can any one point me in the right direction? does anyone think my ABS computer is may be bad? or the acutator / pump thing?

any help is appreciated, trying to get the problems dialed out so i can have her R Ready come time for exbo this yeaR.

a pic to help get views ^_^

The ABS ECU maybe dead or has no power going to it. I would check the fuses and if all okay trace power/ground to the ABS ECU.

I had the same problem with my 01. I ended up taking it to the dealer and the said it was my right front sensor. It looked ok but I must have stretch it while working around it. You have a Kswap so I don't know how a scanner would work. I've heard of the problem on the Pre 98 Integras, which was the ABS unit.
good luck.

the chassis has about 30k miles on it tops, do you really think a failure would occur at such low mileage?

people have been saying maybe a dead ABS compy or grounding issue? everything is stock ABS wise and was not touch during the k swap....?

Also with the Kswap, are the new axle OEM RSX or Aftermarket? I think ABS axles has an ABS ring on them.

Like stumpyf4 said, you need to check the wiring. Have you checked the underhood fuses? Have you verified that the ABS computer is installed? Was the cluster wiring modified?

bro i'll check the wiring tonight and the fuses. i left the ground cables and etc just as it was for b series, i didnt modify any of the abs stuff (ground wise)

additionally i will check on the computer and if everything is plugged in ok.

i have a japanese cluster in the car with a green USDM film sheet thing. do you think my cluster is wacked out and displaying an incorrect light? i dont think thats the case because i cant get the abs to kick in for my life :-(

still taking ideas. thanks again everyone
