Icon2 Engine Sitting! HELP

Hello,

I decided to do a swap into a EK chasis, Its been about 6 months as my turbo motor has been sitting. I has the engine in my previous chasis on the dyno then a week later somone made me an offer on my right hand drive EK i could not say no too.

Since then its been about 6 months the motor has been on my garage floor head still on and spark plugs still in it i turned it over last night about 1/4 turn and seemed ok.

Any suggestions I should have thought about this before but here I am.

Thanks

Should be good, 6 months is not that long. My B18B1 motor had 60K on and it sat for about 3 years in a shop before I put it in my EJ. I had no issues or leaks.

I would think you'll be fine as long as the cylinders and such had oil in them to prevent rust. I'd say make sure all of the holes are plugged or taped so no insects and such make a home in it.
