Default Needing some help

I have a del sol that im dropping in a built motor. Gsr bottom end w/o bring sleeved, and a b16 built head. I currently have a log mani on there now with a holset H1c. My questions are; Is it better to keep as and not keep power steering or find a different mani? Also is it better to run a ramhorn mani or a top mount mani. Which one makes more??? I would like to keep power steering since my DD is a Crx(with none). I would like to hear the good and bad of everyone's idea's and thoughts. This is my first solo build and would like to have the best of a street car and strip car.... Thanks

So if im reading this right as of right now your on a gsr block stock sleeved? what piston and rods are you running or are they stock also? And right now you on a log mani? What style log are you on? I had a blox log and kept power steering with no issue at all. I have seen ppl make 400+ on log mani's. Right now im on a synapse ramhorn mani and still kept power steering with out a issue. We kinda gotta know more info as in "built" If your just looking for something run for a street car i would prob stick with the log and go from there.

Yes more info is going to be a plus. Also depends on your budget.

stock gsr block,je pistons & egale rods. As of now im using a log mani(dunno the brand). The waste gate sits off center. It's a cast iron mani.I would like to take it to the track @ least 3 time this year but most of the time it's gonna be a street car. If there is anything else let me know. Thanks

As light as a delsol is, I'd be surprised if you noticed no power steering.

As far as running a topmount/ramhorn, it is not "required" to make good numbers. Granted I don't know what type of power you're aiming for, but in light of your stock sleeves I'll assume you won't be trying for more than 300-400. Log will achieve that easily.

del sol's are really not much lighter then a civic coupe i think there 2600+ if you put a manaul rack you wont have a prob at all.

and like i said before I have seen people make really good number's on log mani's, with a pistion and rod build. Even tho they are cast the ebay ones still have trouble. So if it is a ebay I would get a inline pro or a blox. If it is either of them the it should say "inline pro" or "blox" on the mani.

what kinda power are you going for?

no one ever said del sol's were lighter than civics... my point is it's light, the heaviest model only weighing 2490lbs. The base model was 2300lbs.

And any cast manifold is fine. It's got to be complete **** for a cast manifold to give you problems... not likely.

However, I will say that the inline-pro/blox manifold were engineered better... no doubt about that.

I'm looking for power between 400-500HP. As far as the steering rack, i just wanted to have one car without PS and another with PS. There is nothing on the mani that gives a name. So im assuming that it just a cheap one. I will look into the brands mentioned tho. Thanks for the Help guys..
