Default RMf header install and tach acting weird when cold

So I have a 91 hf with a jdm b16a swap, It has a yonaka 4-1 header right now but the bottom 2 runners are crushed and ones torn and has a gapping hole on the collector. So im picking up a new rmf narrow replica for $275 and want to know if i need to modify any of the exhaust or will it just delete the cat (which is a test pipe on my car) without needing an extention pipe. I have excess to everything to install it a lift and all just curious.

ALSO my tach has acted weird while warming up when it first happened the tach was stuck at 6000 until i revved it up . Than finally went down to show idle, today it stayed at zero untill it got to 3500 or above than it got more responsive the warmer it got but never showed idle. What coulld this be? Im new to hondas so any help would be great .

Here is the crx i picked up

Id post an engine bay shot BUT Knowing how easy and sleezy some people are my license plate is in the picture and I dont trust any one with this car. To clean for my to lose to a low life haha.

Very clean, With your Tach problem it could be something with the VSS(vehicle speed sensor) But thats just a random thought maybe look more into it

Check your battery grounds that's what was causing my tach to act up

Vtec still kicks so I thought if the speed sensor is bad vtec wont crossover . I know when its finally warmed up and ive been driving it for a good 5-10 minutes it works fine. Any info on the rmf header and fitment with or without a test pipe or cat. The exhaust is a yonaka Im not sure if there used much .

It's been a while but if my memory doesn't fail me, I believe tach signal is sent through a wire off of the distributor. From the picture you have a modified distributor, that's where I'd start.
