tire pressure mysteriously went up?
My car is in hybernation for this winter. Last time the pressure for all tires were at 32 PSI. Today I was just curious to check the PSI. The drivers side was up at 37? and the passenger went down at 27?!
I know nothing about tires and all. Whats going on?

Rockets- its winter so, pretty cold. I'd say in the garage is about low 50s at night. Then it gets warm in the day about 72 in the garage. Typical san diego weather in the winter.
Guys do you think it has to do with the "contract and expand" with fluctuating heat and cold?

Normally we'd expect a 2 PSI swing for each 10 degree change in ambient temperature, so unless it was really cold for the initial PSI check or really hot for the 37 PSI reading I'm not sure that is enough to explain the difference....
Does the drivers side get constant sun from a window or something during the day? If thats the case and you checked it at the end of a warm day then maybe, but its quite a stretch.
