I'm looking into a ls swap ( B18B ) into my 95 eg hatch.

I'm looking into what all i need for the swap?

And building options for the motor?

Cams? Valves? Springs? Retainers? Pistons? Intake Mani? Throttle Body?

Fuel Injectors? Fuel Rail? For a N/A Build.

your limited in all motor on your b18b1, I would try and find a b18c1 .

 

The only reason why i wouldn't want to turbo it, is because i would want my motor too be reliable and last a long time. Too me it seems like a turbo, decreases the life span of a motor? So a N/A build would be reliable and get up and go.

 

The only reason that a turbo would NOT be reliable is if you did do the turbo build right. Period. Your information is faulty.

 

OKay.. So let's say i turboed it.

I'm only in high school, so more in likely i'll be looking at ebay turbo kit's.
& yes i know there a 50/50 for there kits, but is there a way i could improve the reliabilty of the turbo, so i know it wouldn't just blow in a couple hundred miles? And what would be some good build options for my motor if i was going to turbo it.
