must of been having problems with the pickups, common on Dynojets.

Numbers are good, stock itr block with just a built head.. With the cams dialed in there should be more left in it.

You should be able to do that with gears alone.

The tuner 2's will like +3/4 intake and -2/-3 exhaust..those tuner series cams like alot of overlap. You should easily break 205 once the gears can be adjusted.. 0/0 is not opitum for them.

last time this happened to me we hooked the pickup to the blue tach signal wire off the distributor instead of the #1 plug wire. a little electrical tape on it and it worked like a charm

Looks like a good dyno session to me. Are your really going to feel the difference between 199.7 and 205 in the top end? I'm not trying to sound like an ***, but to hell with this dyno number ****.. If it sounds good, behaves well, and it drives like a great engine, what's the big deal?

my mid-range drops slightly and the picks back up top end. so cam gears wer the blame according to my tuner and the manifold for not being big enough.. manifold was running hot after a few runs. so he suggested a victor x or performer x

do not use a victorX.... if u already have a itr manifold, its not worth the money to try a performerX.. the ITR manifold is a solid design..

Interesting. Had never seen that happen, and I run over 200whp on my Type R IM w/ a 68mm TB. (Also sounds like an IM and TB gasket issue). TODA SPEC Bs, TODA valvetrain, and a slight port-match to a B16 head.

I wouldn't do a Victor X, your torque will drop down even more. I'd keep the Type R and at most send it to King Motorsports for "upgrading" like the do their Performer Xs.

As I've mentioned to others, you may want to try an Outlaw Engineering IM and TB Gasket kit. that's easily 6whp right there.

Are you saying they are not the cams stated? Seems normal to me with no degrees changes of the cams..

Motor sounds solid just needs the cams degreed . In other words your tunner is right and the cams needing degreed. I doubt the intake will make a difference just degree the cams.

yes im looking at getting some skunk2 cam gears this weekend.. i can feel the mid-range power droping due to having a stock cam gear. my. hewed up skunk2 gears only made 90base HP.. then he saw the problem on the teeth that they had some chips
