NO COMPRESSION IN CYLINDER FOUR HELP!!!!!!
Hello my honda teach ppl I have a 1991 integra gs b18a1 and its misfiring than a bitch. Me and a friend did a compression it didn't read anything and when we took the spark plug out it was looking like it was just sparking but not getting any fuel can some one give an idea what can the problem be???
Did you do the compression check with the car up to temp, disconnected fuel pump fuse, and holding the throttle wide open? If it has no compression still, then put a little bit of oil in that cylinder and do the compression check again. If it goes up a decent amount you probably have bad rings. If it doesn't go up it's most likely a burnt valve/bad valve seat. You can also do a leak down test and if you take the oil cap off and hear the air coming through it probably has bad rings. If you hear it coming out of the intake side it's a bad intake valve. If you take off the radiator cap and see bubbling or hear it coming out of that it's a blown head gasket (which I doubt is the problem), and if you hear it out the exhaust side it's a burnt exhaust valve.
O yeah and an nuther thing the car dieds some time when I'm driving when it warn up but it starts right away u guy thing that can because. Of a bent valve???
Nvm I just read the other thread I'm give it try some time. This week just gotta get that leak down test thank guys
