I have had the stock AP1 flywheel/clutch and AP1 trans, an Exedy Hyper single unit (about 10LBS or so lighter than stock!!!!!!! insanity!!!!!!) on an AP1 trans, and now I have an AP1 flywheel, and AP2 clutch on an AP2 trans in my AP1.
HELLA CONFUSING!!
I like the stock 13LB AP1 flywheel to be honest. It's a good compromise between a street flywheel and a track flywheel. I don't like super super light flywheels unless it's just a track car. The hyper single flywheel and clutch assembly were really really light and the clutch engagement was either fully on or off without much modulation. Great on the track. Awful and noisy on the street. People always thought my car was broken. Plus people looked at me funny when I was revving to like 3.5k to get off a stop light.
The AP2 trans is a nice upgrade if there's something wrong with your AP1 trans. I know people. So the cost of my upgrade was $250 including a clutch install. So I couldn't resist. It shifts smoother and since the gears are SLIGHTLY shorter, it's nice. I can be in 3rd gear on the track more often instead of having to choose between screaming in 2nd and bogging in 3rd. I wouldn't pay an insane amount of money for it, however. It's only a SMALL upgrade.
I still want to get a final drive gear to add more torx. The final drive is probably the best NA mod. I'm getting a 4.78 final drive trans for my ITR for that exact reason. It's the best bang for your buck mod.
For my AP1 with the AP2 trans, I think I might either do the 4.44 or 4.57 final drive. Good time for me to do them since my diff blew up. But I probably will just buy another stock diff and roll that around for next year. I want to keep it streetable, so I don't want the 4.77. You do have to buy some sort of speedometer correction (yellow box).

A throttle body spacer or any other bolt on doesnt usually buy you much. Intake/header/exhaust combos sometimes make the car faster over all because they spread out the power band. But you have to get the RIGHT combo.
What do you want to do with the car?

i would honestly take a good look at that question "what do you want to do with the car", this isn't a civic, were anything you do could be better..
my best advice is take a driving school at your local track, try an auto-x, and see if you like that, if not.. slap on some goofy *** xxr 18x12's, some 215 tirez, and hang out in front of taco bell with your boyz...
( i vote autox ) lol

Man, you gotta type better. I really can't even understand what you're saying. I can tell you're typing this from a phone, though....all in text slang that makes no sense.
Why didn't you just buy an AP2? You want your AP1 to be as fast as an AP2 (it's pretty close), you want your AP1 to look like an AP2, you want an AP2 trans.....
I converted mine. But I didn't pay for it. I made $$. Otherwise, I'm not sure if I would have done it. It's expensive to do it right. I got the front bumper, front splash guards, headlights, AP2 bumper foam, and cut down my AP1 bumper beam. Although, I think I'm just gonna order up the AP2 bumper beam.
The tail light conversion is pretty difficult. You have to cut away at the body of the car to make the LED section in the tail lights fit. That's the easy part. The hard part is making a new gasket for the tail lights so water doesn't get into the trunk and into the tail lights themselves. I ruined one tail light because a TON of water got into it. And my stupid trunk was sealing....but is now leaking like crazy again. I will have to fix that once I take it out of storage in the spring.
For the rear bumper, I saw a DIY on making custom aluminum bottom brackets. That's for fruitcakes. I used nylon spacers, metal fender washers, rubber fender washers, and a long stainless steel bolt with a shallow head. It's hella ingenous...and 100X easier than sitting around making brackets like a crazy person.
Here's a direct comparison of the same car as an AP1 and as an AP2.

Look at the S2000 picture thread for more inspiration. I think the AP2 looks better. So when I had the perfect opportunity, I converted.
