ok so i purchased an asr subframe brace for my eg hatch for dirt cheap BUT ..the hardware was not included... so i was wondering if someone can help me out with bolt sizes or maybe know where i can pick up an asr hardware kit ?? thanks !

 

Same as stock. Just a little longer. Maybe by 1/2".

 

The new one is the same, however I think the old one used longer bolts.


Call ASR IMO they will sell you the hardware.

No you didn't. I never said which model I had. I wasn't aware the deign revision also affected the bolts as well.

 

Alot of people aren't, this is also why its been said you can't run a Beaks bar with the new ones.

Not sure on exactly why they made the change, maybe to make it a easier install? Cheaper to produce? or to make it harder to put a beaks on it.

do you guys think they sell the LCA bolts at autozone or homedepot? i managed to get the other bolts i just need the 2 longer lcas bolts.. :/

 

Maybe. Those are the hardest to find and most expensive. A guy from F7 posted one time saying just that.

 

They could. you can take your old bolt in and find something like it.


OR, just bite the bullet and call ASR.
