Bad shifter bushings on 98 civic? In gear feels like in neutral

i just got a 98 civic and when iam in a gear it feels like iam in neutral....is the problem the shifter bushings?

Theres a joint where it connects at the trans that can go bad too... easy rebuilt with a butt load of washers and a bolt

Sometimes you can just tighten the heck out of the bottom shifter bolt and be good for a while.

There is also a white plastic collar at the base of the shifter
part # 54110-SH3-003 SEAT, CHANGE LEVER BALL
