this really **** me off because this is the 2nd SiR in a month

my buddy has a 99 bule civic SiR(Si usdm) it was taken from him last night at woodbine & steel

over 3 weeks ago my co-worker's 2000 siliver SiR was also stolen

toronto guys lets get these *******. it's becoming too crazy with stolen cars in Toronto

if you are one of the guys that took the car, you better watch out.

Actually you are wrong - Surrey, BC is the stolen car capital (per capita) of North America (even more than NYC or LA). 17 cars get stolen every day there.

 

Wasn't trying to be factual at all, just hear about a lot of thefts there. Surrey, huh, I didn't know that.

 

it don't matter which city has the most stolen cars per captial. this is a problem that we all have to face.

That only about 10 minutes from my house. People in this area have to be very careful. Places like the mall and movie theatres are the worst. Also, try not to park in covered/underground lots (ie. Commerce Gate).

same here, don't park it at any movie theaters, I have heard too many stories there. SW20, I always see your car around, I live very close to you nice car btw

Haven't you guys ever heard of Boomerang? Throw one on your car so when its taken, you can get those bastards!!

My car is yellow, and I have a body kit, but it hasn't been installed yet. There are two yellow MR2's in Markham with body kits. One is driven by a Chinese guy (friend of mine) and another is driven by a caucasian guy (don't know him). We all live within a few minutes of each other.

no matter what u have pro can always steal ur car no matter what.. like my R i only take out to drive around or only need to park to unless then 5 mins, like return video tapes and **** like that. i've never leave my car alone less then 10mins, unless i know the place is safe, like my area where s2000 NSX and all the nice car here, i know they wouldnt want to steal my car first..

 

Boomerang sucks, what signal would you get if i Parked the car in an underground parking garage (ditto for container...but this isn't gone in 60 seconds) for up to like 2 weeks then move it? Plus most installers put the damn module in the same trained spot everytime..easy pickings.

As for the toronto area theft...DAMN that's close to home, I feel deeply for your losses and hope you catch them..

its ok vancovuer BC is home to stolen honda's i think
stolen sir's everyday and use to be missing ITRs once every few weeks
but cops are busting ricers here so i doubt people would be jacking cars cuz its unsafe for them and also people got smart and bought autolocks and high tech alarms and park in safer areas i hope

Boomerangs use the Bell mobility network, not GPS. So it will track a bit better. My buddy had his R recovered in under 45 minutes with the Boomerang system in T.O.

 

what's boomerang? where do u get them?
