I put a k20 in my EG.and its not going past 3000 rpms. could it be because I only have the 02 sensor on the headers and not on the cat?

Where is your o2, on your header? and which o2 do you have?

 

i had this problem on my k20 set up. my tps sensor was bad so that could be it but also when i wired the conversion harness to the oem harness one of the wires was cut so i re spliced it and the problem went away. i think the color of the wire was yellow with a green stripe. if was one of the wires that would be used on the 3 plugs that go into your kpro. i believe a tps sensor should read a voltage of .5 at idle and 4.5 at wide open throttle. but maybe you have the same problem i had.

 

I have the stock ecu.....where's the cheapest place 2 get the k pro??..

 

Its on the headers.....it just 02 from auto zone......

Have you tested your TPS? Why were the vtec wires burned?

 

idk why the wires was burned but I fixed it.......
