They did make them in 06 and 07, but there aren't very many.

Yes, thanks, I did start to see them later. Is the 6 speed worth it?

Check HondaPartsDeals.com. You can see all the USDM models there. Just takes a second to list through them.

But the info is much more reliable than just having someone tell you the answer.

Don't know what you mean by "worth it", but I think it's safe to say it is more reliable than the automatic. It should get a little better mileage, but not a big difference.

of course there is a distinct advantage to a 6 speed over a five... in the accord it means you have a j series motor vs a four banger... in broad terms, it means that generally the ratios closer together.

sorry all for the vagueness of "worth it" what I am wondering is, is the 6 speed really just a 5 speed ratio wise with 6 gears, i.e. is the 6th gear the same as the 5th gear on a normal 5 speed honda transmission, or is the 6th gear actually giving me an advantage over the normal 5th gear on a 5 speed

6th in a 6 speed is pretty close to 5th in a 5 speed, the ratios are closer together. The only way to get the 6 speed was to get the V6, the 4 cylinder only came with the 5 speed.

There were only around 500 or so v6 6vp sedans made for the 7th gen. As if finding a 6sp coupe wasnt hard enough.

yes they did. i have a 4 door EX-L Black on Black leather with v6 speed. i bought it in 07 brand new and have only seen 3 others since, none of them were the black on black though. Make me some nice offers and it's yours, definitely has to be well over blue book because your going to have a very hard time finding one. 95k miles on it.

There's a beautiful 07 Sedan 6-6 EX-L Silver on grey down outside Atlanta. Only 51k miles. They're asking $13k, and it's been for sale for at least 3 weeks, so I can't say if anything is wrong with it, and it looks like clean carfax too. I'll be in the market for this exact same car towards the end of 2013, early 2014, but if I was wanting one right now, that's the one I'd get. Does not have Nav, and leather doesn't look 100% mint, but solid otherwise:

The made about 5,000 of V6-6MTs, idk how many are sedans or coupes but I personally have a 2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6-6MT Sedan.

Good find. I've seen 2 in the last 10 years in the Dallas area but neither was in as good condition as my 5AT V6.
