Default water dripping from underneath passenger side?

Hi, i noticed that there a clear liquid (possibly water) dripping continuously from underneath the passenger side on my 2007 coupe. the drip is about one a second - enough to create a small pool of water (with a slight metallic smell) if parked for 5 minutes or so.

i can't see where the liquid is directly coming from, but it's just behind the wheel arch.

does any one have any ideas what this may be?

thanks!

If it happens all the time, not just when it rains then it's a busted heater core or hose.

it definitely happened today, and perhaps yesterday. both days have been warm and not raining.

Yeah, heater core or hose. I hope you're still under warranty 'cause it's about $800 for a new heater core w/labor.

thanks for the info; good to get a ball park price as well i bought it brand new, with extended warranty (i think they said 7 year) - but i'm not sure if that's basic or drive train.

should i be able to take it into any honda dealer or do i have to take it to the one i originally bought it from?

cheers!

You should be able to take it to any dealer but, they don't have to honor it if you didn't buy it from them. You may have to take it back to the dealer you bought it from. If it was a recall then any dealer will do the work.

+1. if you did, it probably is from the drain tube. This would be normal.

Normal for it to drain in the car!? Or it's normal for the drain tube to bust or clog?

It sounds like he is saying "outside" the car.

Ah, ok. Bad reading comprehension. Yes, that would be normal.
