Does a D16y8 have an Intake Air Temperature sensor?

IAT. Yes. Get a manual if you don't know the standard parts of your car.

Sometimes it is called an air charge sensor, when I looked it up online.

Anyone know how to test it?

I guess it just unplugs, or do you need to twist a certain way and pull out?
