Hey guys, just picked up a beater, it's a 97 DC4 in really good shape but has a few problems.
1. Fixed!
2. Fixed!
Thanks in advance.

Is the radiator full? Tho, if it goes to zero it may be a loose wire...
On the blower, if it only works on 3/4 I'd look at the resistor... the MAX setting bypasses it completely, and the lower settings go through different parts of it. Sounds like its fried for the lower parts. Since it works at all, the motor sounds like its fine.

Haven't found a chance to check to see if the rad is full or not as I just brought it home tonight and it's dark and cold out already, lolol.
As for the climate control, already figured out the problem, it's the resistor like you said.

i had a similar problem. the gauge would go up only about a quarter and when i drove it would fall back to zero. changed out the thermostat and now it stays just to the left of center.
