12.2 " 4 piston upgrade ready for the 4th and 5th Gen Accords
I finally have the parts done for this kit, turned out very nice. The rotor 'hat' is pretty trick. Specs are:
12.2 x 1.25" thick rotors
4 piston cast aluminum calipers
aluminum mounting brackets
aluminum rotor 'hat'
pads
all bolts etc
brake line adapters
You will need 16" wheels for this kit, and not all will work due to the clearance issue.
Retail is $900,
H-T price is $825

i'm interested in that product, but i would like to know a few things, does it bolts right in without modifications? how does the pedal feel after it? would the rota's 16 have enough clearance? list any info you know and your opinion on it, please
The kit requires you to remove the factory rotor and install the 'hat' in it's place. the rotor then bolts on from the outside, so you don't have to disassemble the hub to change teh rotor.
The same caliper and rotor is currently being used in my other kit for a brand N car, and reports are the feel is much better, as well as better stopping power....
I'm not sure on the wheels clearance issue as I dont have any wheels with the 4 x 114.3 pattern. I would expect that with the rotor being moved inward a bit that a 16 with +30-40 should clear, but again it depends on the spoke design...

I would like to see a pic also. email me at mrnicolas@hotmail.com
You would sell WAAAAY more if you made a kit that fits under 15" rims
Due to the way the 'hat' is designed the 11.75" rotors don't have enough inside diameter. Using the 11.75 rotors would require a different hat design...and without enough demand it wouldn't be feasible to make it...
For those who want the 11.75" rotors I can have them made up so they fit the hat. They will cost a bit more, but nothing outrageous. I'll check into it and it you all know.
Me too, I would like to see the pics. accrd95@aol.com
The 6G cars basically can use the same kit as the ITR since they share the same 11" stock rotors and similar calipers(at least the V6 version does).
im talking about the 4 lug one for the 4 clyinders...can you send me pics also of the ones you have for the 5th gen.

Can we get pics and how much more would it cost with 11.75 in rotors. I think there is a pretty big demand, i know i would be interested. With the 11 in rotors would every 15" rim fit?
I want pics: paul331@usfamily.net
The 98+ Accord 4 cylinder can use the V6 caliper with the 92-96 Prelude VTEC rotor. It all bolts on.
any chance you could sell just the rotor/hat and whatever mounting pieces for use w/ the Legend Dual-piston swap seperately? And would 11.75" rotors fit under 15" wheels?
