Civic Type R Sun Visor assistance please
Ok, I've had these on my car for about a year now, and my younger brother pulled the passenger side visor down a little too quickly and made a small tear in one of the little insurance card holder flap thingies

(not mine, just an example pic of what I'm talking about)
Or whatever you wanna call them xD;
It's not a bad tear, maybe an 1/8 of an inch but I don't want them to get worse cuz these things are kinda tough to find in good condition.
Any suggestions as to how to mend it?
It tore along the trim seam, btw.

There are cloth patch kits out there, but if you want to properly repair it, you'll have to strip it to resew fresh cloth. Short of reupholstering the visors, the damage will always be visible if you look close enough.
On the up side, I'm in the process of reupholstering my entire car right now, and I can tell you from experience that the sun visors are probably the easiest part to do. Just be careful when you take it all apart, don't go ripping it to shreds, and use the old cloth as a guide for the new cloth.

It's that darker leather/vinyl stuff
How to patch that stuff?
I mean, I don't use those little card holders, but it still kinda bugs me there's a rip in one of them since it's kinda a rare-ish item
I'm weird like that XD;
The only problem is they're not covered in cloth
