Well I just finished installing my dash. All plugs arenwhere they belong. Except one plug I was left with. It's a green plug by the drivers side. It had some wires cut for the previous alarm which I completely removed. But now I have no where to pu this plug? What gives...I can't find where it goes

Can anyone help..please. I would greatly appreciate it.

this is the plug...sorry for the crappy pix and flash. it was dark last night. That plug cant reach to any other place but driver side. Maybe it can reach the steering column..but there is no plug available..:s

Im going through a ep3 pdf repair manual. And that the only thing i can think of....?

Looks like one of the connectors that plugs in the back of the instrument cluster.

 

Its not. Its at the lower part of the dash.

 

I looked under the dash of my EM2 (I know, similar but not the same) and found this:


It appears to be factory tape. I'm thinking it's for the factory alarm or fogs.

 

Yeah....then maybe its for the factory alarm. Which is what i was thinking. Thanx....the plugs do look alike.

 

its for the factory alarm that all si's were suppose to be equipped with even though the one i just bought doesn't have the factory alarm in and hasn't had an aftermarket put on it either.

 

Can you tell me this though? Coming through the firewall is a cord that splits off, one end goes to a relay and the other end has a 4 pin green plug that looks like it might run up the steering column. Can anyone tell me where this actually goes?
