for the its front, if i get the conversion without the hid setup, can i just add it in? like with a hid kit?

 

no, adding a cheap aftermarket kit is not the same. the 96 spec projectors are different. 98 spec factory HIDs use D2S bulbs with bosch projectors that will produce more focused light.

both headlight housings were designed for RHD though so the cutoffs aren't ideal anyway for US use.

 

So it's better to find a 98 spec then. Were u guys Able to focus the light for us road ways?

 

Just get the '98 spec. It'll be worth it.

Well I'm in Hawaii. Pretty hard to get um here, shipping is about 800 alone.
