Reverse stagger.... Help me out
Hi guys,
I'm running an EP3 in some circuit racing in the UK next year, I've done around 20 trackdays in my EP3 to date aswell so feel I know it's characteristics quite well.
I currently run a Kaaz 1.5 way diff, Buddyclub RSD, roll centre correctors, superpro bushes all round, progress 24mm rear ARB etc.
Wheel specs at present are 17x8 ET38 with 225/45/17 Direzza's. I have oversteer at present when tyres are cold but apart from that the car seems very neutral. I have space to go upto a 17x8.5 ET30 in the front and 17x8 ET35 in the rear.
My plan was to run those wheel specs with a 245/40 front and 225/45 rear, can anyone tell me who's done a similar switch if they noticed a positive differnce? I was thinking I may be able to soften the rear a little so it doesn't skip as much over bumps and in doing that it should bring the rear tyres upto temperature quicker which will be important in circuit racing.
Any input is appreciated.

I run 245/225 on my EP3 with great results. Its a great way for us that are not constricted by class rules to balance these cars and make them more forgiving by using contact patch to modify front to rear traction instead of making the rear overly stiff to reduce understeer. The car has much more predictable tendencies with the staggered width tires and isnt as twitchy or high sprung at the limit.
