Default I reallly need some help diagnosing my lack of vtec problem

I'm so frustrated I'm about to just pull the head. Here's the situation:
1st gen b16 head and 94 b18b bottom. The oil supply is coming from the stock pressure sender location via size 4 ss braided line.
I have the correct oil pressure in the supply line, however I'm getting code 22-oil pressure switch. I do the helms troubleshooting flowchart for diagnosing and I discover I'm getting no oil pressure at all at the vtec solenoid assembly. There's not even pressure when I open the solenoid via direct voltage.

Before I put this head on I had it pressure tested, just to make sure everything was okay. I also dissassembled and reassembled to make sure everything was right.

Now how could I have pressure entering the head and none at the vtec solenoid assemly. From where the oil supply enters there's an oil gallery straight to the assembly. Does anyone have any idea what I'm missing? I'm using an itr oil pump as well.

I took off the oil spray bars and there was oil in them so I'm getting pressure in the head, just not to the vtec solenoid assembly. Please does anyone have any ideas?

hey man glad to see you're making progress on this problem. so you're saying the pressure switch is testing out good but not ever indicating enough pressure to allow vtec?

I assume you mean you are getting the oil supply for your turbo from the pressure sensor? Thats your problem.

I've actually set up a tee where I have the pressure switch and a pressure gauge at the stock pressure switch location and the gauge (new) is reading no pressure. Hence why I'm getting code 22. I just can't figure out how I can have pressure entering the head (I have a pressure gauge on my oil supply line too) and none at the vtec assembly which is only inches away.

I'm having a 1/8" npt bung welded on the vtec assembly just in case I can't figure this out. I'll just source another oil feed to it from the oil pump to make sure it's seeing pressure.

No. The pressure sender is the oil supply for the cylinder head.
