B20B/GSR head... ECU PowerFc Knock count
Hi i m setting up my B20B vtec with CTR cam and Aluminium Rod, Wiseco Piston 84mm, GSR Crankshaft, 72mm Throttle, Skunk2 Intake, HyperTec Exhaust manifold. Powerfc with Datalogit, 310cc Injector.
Anyone using the Datalogit with PowerFc?. what is the acceptable knock count for honda?. I get somethings like 40+ knock count, some time is 50+, if that is too high i think is better i lower the timing a bit.. my timing range from 33 to 44 at about 5100rpm then from 32 to 35 at about 8700rpm

I have datalogit and typical knock count is about 80. That is where the engine noise goes away and now you get into true knock
gtm_maxwell, that's only good depending upon where the knock is peaking and how much engine load you're in. If you're at a relatively low rpm, its just literally engine noise throughout the rotating assembly. (Hondas are notoriously loud compared to other platforms.) if you're at a much higher rpm level, say over 6K and its occurring, now, you want to make sure you're not detonating.

alright... most of the knock which encounter is around 40+ which is below 6K... as above 6K i only get some knock like 10 to 30... i hope i m in the safe area....
