so was on my way home and went to accelerate and all i got was spitting and spudering ... was only at 3/4 to wot but now its if i just press the gas ... car starts fine .idles rough and sounds like a WRX ... i have changed rotor button , cap , plugs , plug wires, fuel pump, coil, fuel filter was done a few months ago .... what amp i missing ... car will barely stay running now... but starts up fine .. i have spark at all 4 plugs and the plug wires are in the right spots ... when i looked at the spark they did seem to be a little orangish ... and if i get the revs up it will backfire through the intake and exhaust ... and sometimes i can just hold it WOT and it wont go over 2k rpms

yes but have no way of checking them car wont go down street

 

Doesn't need to..pull the codes

 

i dont have a reader ... only way i have to read the codes is take it to local autoparts store

 

or google the method on sticking a paperclip in the connector and reading how many times the CEL blinks

ok plugged in air temp sensor recet ecu .. and got code 74

 

which is random misfire cylinder 4

last time my car ran like that my compression on cylinder 2 was horrible

 

180psi across all cylinders

when pulling the plugs i did notice 1 and 2 were a lot more darker then the other 2
