I currently use USAA but they are exclusive to military and family of militry. However I have had Geico...stay a way from them! not a good but at all. horrible service and their montly dues increase for no reason, they will not explain why or how. Triple A is awesome but runs an arm and a leg.

Who ever you pick to cover yo and your cb, make sure to are completely covered. esp if yo are going to put money into this car. Protect yourslf and your investment.

Lots of insurence places won't offer you full coverage on the car, as its "too old". Right now I have state farm, I've had one accident almost 3 years ago that supposedly caused $800 in damage to a saturn vue (bumped at less then 5mph in my cb7, and the only damage it caused to my car was some cracks in the paint on the top of the bumper; and I had no license plate on the front, so no bolt dents/scratches/scrapes to their bumper, just some one way paint transfer from my bumper to theirs).

Right now I have a 2009 Honda Fit, and I'm paying $88 a month for full coverage, $500 collision, $250 comprehensive, no personal injury protection, no roadside assistance.

lol State farm is only good when you don't get into an accident.

I have had Progressive for most of my life. I used State Farm cause it was cheaper back in '09. I was pulling onto the freeway that was at a stop where I was getting on, when a truck wasn't paying attention and slammed into the rear left side of my car. I couldn't believe it. The only thing that saved me was me pulling to the side when it became clear he was going to hit me. I pulled over and "I" called 911, not the other guy, and the police took the report. About a month later the report came out and somehow I got put at fault. State farm actually said I was not at fault, then a week later called back and said I was. I asked them how the hell I'm at fault. Anyways, I never once spoke with my actual agent at any point in time. What appeared to happen was that the damage to the other guy's truck was so minimal they figured they'd get more money if they said I was at fault and raised my rate as a result. I sued the other guy and of course the judge sided with him(who happened to have Progressive). I'm certain the only reason was because State farm rolled over on me.

Of course that was the only 6 months I used State farm and will never be using them ever again.

Did I mention that I never once got to speak with or got a call from my actual agent ? Yeah, it was someone else, probably in Texas and it was never the same person.

Wow that totally sucks, I guess that was before the slogan "Like a good neighbor..."

I have a good neighbor, he scared away some wanna be sticky finger ******* while he was rooting around my car (and dam myself for not locking the car). The funniest part is, he ran away on foot and left his Trikke behind (which was turned over to the authorites).

I have Geico, I might be the only person who likes them. Always telling me ways to save money and when I had an accident, they made the whole process easy and painless.

Yeah, I've had two other accidents, both were not my fault. One of them the other driver had no insurance. And I had a broken foot. Progressive ponied up the 15k in about a couple months after they got the medical bills showing my foot was broke and it was clear I was not at fault. Uninsured is so cheap it's so worth it.
