We just signed up for the PBOC Sebring HPDE events on Saturday and Sunday(Jan 14-15th). Any other Honda guys planning on making it to this event? This will be the first time with our K20 CRX on a real road course, so it should be a lot of fun. We will finally be able to stretch its legs and see what its capable of, Im sure the limiting factor will be myself(driver), haha!

We have a ton of work to do to get the car ready, we will be posting about our experience in our build thread "BrakesPros.com K20 CRX Track Build" in the Road Racing Forum if anyone is interested. We hope to see some of you out there!

yeah we will be there with 2 of our cars and some other friends will be there. We are running the 6 hour race with are ITA integra and then doing the HPDE stuff with the ITA integra and the k series turbo integra.

what day are you guys going down there?

 

We look forward to seeing you guys there and the cars you guys put together, I have seen some of your footage online. I still dont have a solo license, so we will be doing the novice-intermediate HPDE's on Saturday and Sunday. We will probably head down there Friday night so that we can be ready early saturday, details on the trip still need to be sorted out. PM Sent.

Those brakes need to get installed and at least tested before Feb...

 

Although we had some unexpected issues with our car this weekend, when we were able to get it out on track we had an absolute blast and the car ran really strong! We owe a huge thanks to the guys at IPG for helping us get things sorted out in the middle of working on their own cars! We will post pictures and videos from the event soon..so stay tuned!

Im looking forward to meeting you as well as the other local Honda racers, I love seeing other Hondas on the track, especially when well prepared!

 

Here is the first of a few videos we made from our track day at Winterfest. This was our first track day with the car, so we ran into some unexpected issues throughout the weekend(fuel starvation in sweepers and something in our tranny let loose at the end of the day). We still managed to get the car out on track for some seat time, we just weren't able to give it 100%. We still had an awesome time and we have some big plans for the CRX coming, we cant wait to get it back out on track!
