How much is it worth? RHD prelude
Finishing up building a RHD 98 prelude, but have no clue where to set my asking price. If anyone has any input that would be great! should be listing it forsale in a week here are the specs.

asking price is totally different from what that guy got in the link. he would be lucky to be offered 7k-8k and id take that and run with it. not trying to be a downer just being realistic.

thanks for linking my for sale thread in here btw. my asking price is within the realm of possibilities. i have received 3 $16k offers already but wont go down that much. the usdm counterpart with the same milage, options, and condition kbb's at $10-12k except that is barely comparable considering the type-s prelude was never released in the states. the car is in near show room condition, only has 6x,xxx miles, and comes titled. when compared to similar spec jdm itr's my price is extremely reasonable and the prelude type-s is, i believe, the only legitimate one currently in the states. either way, many people can argue or disagree with the price. something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. so as of right now the car seems to only be worth 16k in which case i will not sell it and i will keep it as my daily while my 4th gen is under way

Man, next time I'm on the gulf coast of FL I'd feel obligated as a Prelude owner to come check out your cars, you're probably the only person in the US to ever own a true JDM 4g and 5g let alone a Type S. I feel for what it is your asking price is very reasonable to own what in the US would be a truly one of a kind, a converted USDM car is not the same as the real deal.
I'd keep the Type S if I were you Zac, who else can say they've seen one let alone own one and that's from someone who isn't really even a fan of the 5g.
I'd say the OP's car on the other hand is really only worth a small amount more than a mint condition 5g since only those who really want to own a RHD car would be interested.

Anything RHD even converted goes for a bit over the LHD counterpart in the US. People have offered me cars for trade that no LHD Prelude would even think about getting, just because its RHD.
Anyway ready to get rid of my RHD BB6 because too many are popping up.
Makes me curious as to how many RHD bb6's there are here in the states (converted or not)
Off the top of my head, I know of 6 converted and 1 legit. As of today - unfortunately now only 3/6 converted are on the road
the only people that will pay high asking prices are ones who specifically want the RHD...as much as i love my hondas i would not pay a premium for rhd on ANY honda. the best thing to do is keep it for sale and set a price that you want for it and wait and advertise online and be patient for a LOOOOONG time...
Not sure if that's what you meant or if you wanted more information lol - no sarcasm intended.

To the OP. I would suggest a 8-10k list price.
