Default recent work (since the last time i was on here)

its been months and havent been on, been to busy with my real job. but thats gone now so the side work is coming back. heres some things ive done over the last 4 months that i dont think ive ported pics up of yet.

first up changed some cold side boost pipe on a locals car from 2.5" to 3" (had the modular full_race cold side piping) and modded the intercooler outlet to match. also did a 4" aluminum exhaust for it (under the rear tie bar) and did some wastegate dumps as the old full-race ones kept braking........

heres a full size rad i cut down for a local with a rex......

took the 5" stainless bottome dump exhaust off my buddies nova and added 4" aluminum bull horns in its place.......

before....

after....

side view before....

other views after....

(And yes the horns were cut down 4-5" after these pics were taken)

more coming

made a bottom center mount intake mani for a neon.....

gasket matched my buddies spec v head while it was off when i was doing head studs and valve springs on it....

and this one im quite proud off as its my first. had a local regular come over in need a of a new air to water for his extreme drag radial mustang. he gave me the old cooler and said he wanted it in the same location as the old one in terms ouf mounting it and i/c pipe connections. the problem, the cores are much smaller then the old ones. so he gave me some cores and a week and he got this in return......

oh and i did another one of these I/C in water box setups like a did a couiple years ago for another mustang. u can see in the pics below that the old ice box was wlded to the back of the i/c well i told hm lets do 360 degrees of cooling and put it in the water box. over all it will be smaller and all for materal down low to weld the mount tabs to.

ive got some finished and in car pics on my camera but ill have to get those up later.

and some more.........

my buddy with a volvo s80 t6 (twin turbo inline 6) wanted me to do his hot side boost pipe in aluminum instead of the plastic/rubber hose it comes with in stock form. well he dropped the car off and i looked at what i had for materials and said i can do better then that. heres the finished product........

does it help performance wise u ask? not as much as it make it look a helluv alot better.

I love the volvo and the W2A core work. Great stuff and the welds are really nice too.

Just curious, how do you bend your aluminum sheet?
