2000 SI power steering pump question
Ok so I have a 2000 SI just like it says, Im swaping everything from my 96 EX to the SI, But the pump from my EX will not work on the SI because the line from the rack has a bigger port on it then the pump dose.. So my question is what pump do I need if there not the same? The only one my loc. parts store can get is the one I have. I always thought EK pumps were the same.
si pumps are different, but the hose should bolt up. (i have an si pump on my 99 dx line). unless for some weird reason they did something weird for the 96. a 98+ integra pump should work also.
96 was the first model year of that generation. They had some, um, issues.
I got fed up with the recalls and problems and traded my 96 in after 6 months for what turned out to be the last model year of my model.

ok thanks guys.. ill see what i can figure out.. I did try a integra pump but i think it was a 98-. I might just do a manual rack and forget about ps because here in the future im going to be doing a top mount.
That pump should have worked, makes me question both what pump and lines you have. You can either run a '96 - '00 D-series pump, or a '98 - '01 Integra pump with a '92 - '95 Civic D-series bracket.

lol this cracked me up.. 96-98 99-00 = EK they use 90% of the same parts for your info.. When you do a b swap into a 96 you use 99-00 parts pal
