Default crx seats in a hatch

hey i know some of you guys in here have CRX seats in your hatch, and i'm curious as to what EXACTLY has to be done to the seats/rails to get them into the civic.

do the hatch rails bolt to the bottom of the CRX seats?

the sit sooooo much lower than my stupid civic si seats. and they're way comfier.

I've got Integra seats in my CRX, they sit really high. But I guess you are not asking that. At least you got a free bump.

I put some 89 CRX si seats into my 91 DX hatch. I had to move the rails exactly 1.5 inches wider on each side. I just welded a bracket to the seat and then to the rail.

............................ah nevermind just extend the rails out inch and a half on each side

well if u do it right the bottom will sit where ur seat does now and teh top is higher i believe. You r gonna have to unbolt the pan form both sets of seats and take off the cushion and fabric and swap pans and rails very simple to do with a pair of needle nose pliers and a socket set. good luck ull need a allen key also to unbolt the upper portion from the pan and the other side has 2 14mil bolts

my friend had 90-91 dx seats and he was able to put 88-89 crx seats in it. he swapped the pans like jdmb16ahatch said to do.
